May, 1946: in Paris, young poet Jacques Prevel meets the author, essayist, stage director and actor Antonin Artaud, recently released from the Rodez asylum, after 9 years of confinement. Prevel becomes Artaud’s disciple and follows him in his pilgrimages and wandering until his death, two years later.
