accompanied by audio recordings read by Luís Miguel Cintra, the actor was invited for a recording of “The Gospel
According to John”, outside, in the country. It is the day of that reading,
performed continuously from the early afternoon until sunset, that is
documented here.

Since Surfavela (1996), Joaquim Pinto and Nuno Leonel have been working together, sharing directing credits, a partnership that reached its peak in 2013 in the autobiographical documentary E Agora? Lembra-me, an authentic tour de force that won two important awards at the Locarno festival. Before returning with Pathos Ethos Logos, in 2015 they filmed the documentary Rabo de Peixe.
