Commemorative film of French cinema 100th anniversary (counting from the first paid session and not the cinematograph invention, corrects Godard). “The first moving picture shows a female character, possibly ill, having a seizure and passing out in front of white projection screen. In the last image, kept even beyond “The End”, we see in a close-up the face of Henri Langlois, co-founder of the French Cinémathèque and an emblematic figure that sums up the concept and the praxis of remembering cinema."
