An old man is torn between his own remorse, his unbearable solitude and the codes of honor deeply engrained in the afghan soul. In a journey alongside his grandchild through a desolate landscape of Afghanistan, in a dusty road that leads to a distant coalmine, where his son works, Dastanguir carries out the difficult task to tell him about the death of their entire family in a violent bomb attack.
