Stanley Kubrick (1928-1999) was an American director, producer and photographer. He was the author of great cinema classics such as Spartacus (1960), Dr. Strangelove (1964), 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), A Clockwork Orange (1971), Barry Lyndon (1975), The Shining (1980), among others. His originality and persistence, combined with a meticulous, profound and patient technique, place him in the pantheon of the most influential filmmakers in history.
