Miss Rain, a cambodian woman, wanders between the lakeside village and the meanders of the river. Over 30 years ago, under the Khmer Rouge regime, all of her family was killed in the woods. Miss Rain and her brother are haunted by their past and by the hiddens spirits of the forest.

Charlie Petersmann was born in 1984 in Geneva, Switzerland. He studied Film Directing at the DFFB (Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin). He's known for the films Cantos (2013), Deltas, Back To Shores (2016) and Miss Rain (2017).
