Director
Louis Garrel

Born on June 14th, 1983, in Paris, Louis Garrel made his acting debut at the age of 18, in the film Ceci Est Mon Corps (2001), when he was still a student at the Paris Conservatory of Dramatic Art. Bernardo Bertolucci gave him, in The Dreamers (2003), his first major role, but he became more popular thanks to the fact that he is Christophe Honoré’s “pet actor” of sorts, in some of his most emblematic films. He made three short films before making his feature debut with Two Friends (2015), a romantic drama about an unlikely love triangle in which Garrel plays one of the characters alongside Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani. He also directed, in 2018, also opposite Laetitia Casta, A Faithful Man, about the complexity of romantic relationships.
