Thematic programmes - The desire Called Utopia
In Latitudes of the Future is the verse that concludes Marina Tsvetaeva's poem The Island, in which she describes a distant utopia in virgin state. The film recalls the lost dreams of the men and women who daily responded to the call of the Russian Revolution, and is also a reflection on the impulse to change and its limits in a world of cyclical issues, always left to solve.
