During one year, Joseph Paris filmed from the inside the Femen movement; its acts, its shocks and confrontations, its smokes and noises, but also its circumstances, its doubts, and sometimes its contradictions.
One year at the heart of a overexposed activism in mass-media, where its deep reasons remained under silence or sometimes misconceived.

In “n.o.i.r. “ & “b / l / a / n / c” and “Warsaw,” I experimented with text-voice-image dissociations and contradictory montages to reveal new readings of the narrative.
In 2008, I was involved with the initiative of the collective Kassandre, with which I militated against the concept of Intellectual Property, and for the use of Copyleft licenses in the cinema.
In 2012, I filmed the movement Femen, from the inside, for a year and in 2014 I directed “Naked War”, film in which I decode the cinematographic grammar of these spectacular actions.
I am currently developing “Le Repli,” an experimental struggle related with borders and their images.
