Awa Meité is a prolific artist from Bamako, Mali. Meité is a filmmaker, painter and fashion designer, who has worked in both her native country and in France.
She studied Sociology in New York and continued her studies all over the world: new technologies in Montreal, fashion in Paris and painting somewhere between Europe and Mali.
Her African roots inspire her works and are present in all of her artistic productions. Her art exhibitions and fashion shows spread from the European to the African continent.
