A family with five sons lives in a remote Kazakh village. The oldest and fairest, Aslan, becomes the father’s deputy in charge of all the work and delegating tasks to his younger brothers. However, when the mystic visitor, Kanat, arrives at the village and shows the children his tablet and computer games, life at home takes a different turn. The sudden intrusion of the modern world brings corruption, temptation and deceit. Suddenly, it’s Kanat who becomes the new leader. Until the moment when, one day, Aslan takes him to the river and the city boy disappears.
