Alice, a single mother, is a dedicated senior plant breeder at a corporation engaged in developing new species. Alongside Alice work Chris, who's romantically interested in her, and Bella, who just returned to work after a mental breakdown. One day, against company policy, she takes one plant home as a gift for her teenage son, Joe. This weird, quasi sci-fi futuristic psycho-thriller transports us into a refrigerated environment where behaviors change creepily.
