An enigmatic puzzle of perception, Film questions the ontological questioning surrounding the act of seeing, being seen and the movie camera as object of apprehension. In monochrome silence, a man roams the streets trying to evade the vision of an all-seeing-eye, the camera, the film itself.  It’s a chase film with, as protagonists, a recording apparatus and a fleeing image. In collaboration with Alan Schneider, Samuel Beckett, the celebrated author of the existential play Waiting for Godot, dedicates his only cinematic work to Berkeley's famous principle “or esse est percipi”, to be is to be perceived.
