Drawing on film theorist Laura Mulvey’s groundbreaking 1975 essay Visual Pleasure and Narrative Cinema, the film makes use of an avant-garde fragmentary style so as to break rules, defy the norm and introduce a revolutionary outlook on the domestic and professional spaces that frame the female body.
