Minna Salami is a feminist activist and thinker, founder of the prize-winning blog
“MsAfropolitan”. A nigerian,
finnish and swedish writer and journalist, she examines society from the perspective
of African and Afro-descendant women. Salami was included in ELLE’s list
for twelve “women changing the world”, next to personalities like
Michelle Obama and Angelina Jolie, and spoke at the EU and the UN. Besides
writing for several publications, she is in the advisory board of the African
Feminist Initiative (UPenn, USA). Salami’s first book Sensuous Knowledge: A
Black Feminist Approach for Everyone, will be published in 2020.
