Rebecca Zlotowski was born in 1980 and is a French writer and director. She graduated in screenwriting from the prestigious film school La Fémis and is currently working as both a director and a screenwriter. Additionally, Zlotowski is a feminist, openly defending the 5050 movement for gender equality. When talking about her most recent film, An Easy Girl (2019), she concluded that representations of women, although historically used against feminism, can be used in its favor. Her filmography includes features such as Grand Central (2013), Planetarium (2016) and Belle Épine (2010).
